Armor smithing is an essential skill that supplies armor for melee characters. The guide below will show you everything you will ever need to know about how to smith different pieces of armor.

1. Equip your hammer in the shield slot.
2. Click the anvil.
3. Select the piece of armor that you want to create.
4. Select the type of metal you want to use (you must have it in your inventory).
5. Click the "CREATE" button.
If this did not work...Make sure you have enough metal for that piece of armor. If you want to create a piece of armor that is silver, gold, or titanium you need to learn a tome for it. Follow the link to learn more.
1. Tomes (not tombs) are used to learn how to smith silver, gold, and titanium armor.
2. You must have the armor smithing skill to learn a armor smithing tome.
3. To learn them, control click the tome (you must learn in the order: silver, gold, titanium).
4. The names are simple... Silver Armor Smithing Tome, ext.
5. Picture of one below (it looks like a book).
6. Usually cost 1k per level (titanium can go for a little more): silver 1000 gp, gold 2000 gp, titanium 3000-5000 gp).
