The benefits of being in a guild are countless. Players will be able to recognize you by your guild tag (3 characters that represent your guild on chat). You may be in a guild to show your high expertise. You may be in it for other reasons, like friends. Each guild has different policies. Some guilds give members discounted prices on items, and others are there purely to have fun. Some guilds even go on "hunting parties."Soon when there are more features in the game, there will be even more. In the future, guilds will possibly have their own guild houses.
ALWAYS remember that what you do, when in a guild, reflects your guild's appearance, so don't screw things up for not only you, but your guild.

Joining a guild for the 1st time
|
1. First log into your account.
2. Second select the character that you want to apply for a guild under the "Char List" button.
3. Third, go to the Guild Page and look over the guilds you are thinking about applying for.
4. Once you have found a suitable guild, click the guild link on the Guild Page, and scroll to the bottom.
5. Click the button that says "Request to Join."
6. Your request is pending, and the leader of that guild will choose whether or not to let you into the guild.
7. Give the request at least a day or two before you choose another guild.
If this has not worked, or you can't see a "Request to Join" button at the bottom of the individual guild page...
1. Make sure you are currently not in a guild.
1. Make sure the character you have selected, is at least level 5.
The reason this matters, is because it will not allow you to join a guild if you have one of these two traits.

Joining a guild for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th ext.. time
|
1. You must first get out of your current guild, so select the character desired under the "Char List" button.
2. Second, click the "Character Details" button.
3. At the bottom of that page, click the "Leave Guild" button.
4. Once you are no longer in the guild, repeat the steps above for 1st timers.
Don't be discouraged if a leader keeps turning you down. It may not be that they don't like you, it could just be your level or skill. Some guilds have even higher level limits to get into the guild, or have at least a certain skill level. For instance, you may need to be level 15, or have a skill(s) at at least 50.

If you are an avid player of OgreIsland, and plan on playing more in the future, start a guild of your own. Make sure you have a commitment because you don't want to let your fellow guildies down when you haven't been on in a while. After all, you are their "leader."

To make a guild:
Make sure you are level 15 or higher... it is recommended you are a lot higher than level 15
Make sure you are not currently in a guild.

1. Walk or warp to Noradaar Fortress.
2. Find a town guard around 5805, 4020.
3. Click one of the two guards.
4. Click the shield on the menu that comes up.
5. Enter info about guild, and POOF!
6. Your guild will be created, and start recruiting.
To keep your guild, you must have at least 5 level 5 players in one week's time.
Also, PLEASE don't create any offensive guild names or tags... it could come with a huge consequence.
