Coordinates

This is a guide... if you want coordinates go to the Coordinate Mapper.

This guide will teach you how to use coordinates. Simply follow the steps below and you will begin to understand them. (It takes a bit of practice)

Coordinates are very useful in many ways, but mainly they are used to go to a location. The coordinates are based on a grid of imaginary lines. Every intersection point on that grid is a coordinate. Coordinates are two sets of numbers (sometimes three, but don't worry about that). We've figured out that coordinates are points on a grid right? So, if you take every spot on the game where you can click, thats a coordinate. In this game, there are thousands. Every place that you click is unique. Thats why the numbers change.

Refer to the pictures below as I walk you through learning coordinates.
1. Look at Picture 1 below. That is where you can see your current coordinates.
*NOTE... for steps 2-5 look at Picture 2.
2. Now that you know where they are located, click above your player's head. See how the 2nd number gets larger?
3. Now click below your player and see how that second number gets smaller. That is the Y coordinate.
4. Okay, click to the left of your player. When you do, you will see that the 1st number gets smaller.
5. If you do the same to the right of your player the 1st number will get larger. That is the X coordinate.

That's it! Now, whenever another player gives you coordinates all you have to do is match your coordinates up with the ones that they give you. To practice try going to the Coordinate Mapper.
