Player vs. player battles are rigorous tests for your combat character. The name says it all… it is a one on one fight, you versus another player. Unlike fighting monsters, if you lose the fight, you will not surrender any items… only your pride. (heh, gotta love the pride part)
In PVP you may challenge or be challenged by a player of any level, or skill. There is also no limit to the amount of times you PVP. Your overall win-loss record is kept in your character profile.

NOTE:
Southern Vale is an isolated town that you get to either by free warping from Underleaf, or traveling through the Wastelands. Unlike the Battle Arena, Southern Vale is not a controlled PVP area. For instance, you could be level 1, and all the sudden out of nowhere a level 79 player could slaughter you. And, technically there is nothing wrong with that if you put aside morals… funny eh?
I would not suggest traveling through Southern Vale because of this, if you have no intention of getting into a fight. However, there are a few players who have some thrill issues, and will do this. (Or at least try.)
One more thing... If you lose your battle you will respawn with drained stats where you have attuned your life force last.
TO PVP SOMEONE IN SOUTHERN VALE:
1. Simply walk up to the player and double-click them.
2. Unlike the Battle Arena, they may not want to fight you, and try to escape. (If you are good enough, they shouldn’t get too far before you kill them).
