Gems and Enchantments

Gems are used to create many magical items with enchantments on them. These enchanted items can help by raising the chance to create an item, putting a weapon spell on an item so it does extra damage in battle, or giving your player extra stats. The guide below will show you how to get gems and how to enchant items with the gems you have found.

First of all, to get a gem you need to do one of the following:
   1. Buy a gem (any c)
   2. Mine a gem (any c)
   3. Loot a gem from a monster (.5c-2c)

The types of gems are:
lolite
diamond
amber
emerald
topaz
saphire
ruby
pearl
onyx

When mining gems, no matter what your skill level is, every one has the same chance of finding a gem. It is completely random.

Each gem has a different carat, or c. You may be mining and find a .5c gem, or a 4c gem. There is a BIG difference. When enchanting, you add together all 3 of your gems carats. For instance, if you had three .5c gems and enchanted something, it would make a 1c item. I bet at first you think, "Hmmm.. isn't that 1.5c?" Well, when you make an enchanted item, the finished product has to be a number without a decimal (1c, 2c, 3c, 4c, ...). Because of this, it always rounds down if you have gems that add up to a #.5.

1. Make sure you have a high enough skill to enchant an object (90-100).
2. Click the armor, weapon, or tool anvil/click the loom/click the bowyer table.
3. Select the weapon, tool, bow, piece of clothing or armor...ext.
4. Select the material to use.
5. Put the correct gem combo in the "Other Items" boxes

6. Click the "CREATE" button.

If you do not have a high enough skill, I recommend asking a good smith to enchant the item for you (This will probably require a small fee). If you are a good enough smith, look below at the tables. Make sure the gems are in order. Also, the better the material you use to make the item, the harder it will be to enchant.
