Attuning your lifeforce is a very basic feature of the game. First of all, when your character dies you will need to respawn right? Correct, so when you respawn you will appear at the stone that you attuned your lifeforce to. All of your health, stamina, and mana will be drained (they refill over time). The guide below will tell you exactly how to attune your lifeforce to a stone.
Refer to the pictures below as I explain...
1. Find an attuning stone (Picture below).
2. Put your cursor over the stone, and when the crescent appears, click. (Picture below)
3. Your life force has been attuned.
You've done it! The only exception when you do not appear at an attuning stone when you die is if you have a tent pitched. Then you will always respawn at the tent.
