Game Chat

As you know, communication is one of the most important features in this game. There are five different ways to communicate with other players... local, world, guild, party, and privately. To choose between all of them there is a useful chat box in the bottom left of your playing screen. There is also another way to communicate in one or more chat at once. To do this you must learn your /commands. This page will explain those to you along with the simple chat box.

Other Commands

To choose between chats, you can either click the tabs (local, world, guild, party, and private) or you can use /commands (/l, /w, /g, /p, and /t playername). Note, you can only see world chat if you are in world chat.

An example of the chat box

/l (Local Chat) is the chat where players can talk to other players within a close distance to themselves. Hint... if you don't see any players on your screen, this might not be a good chat to use.
/w (World Chat) is the chat where players can talk to other players who are all over the world. No matter where you are, if you are in world chat, you can talk to others. Hint... if you want to be able to see all chats at once, this is the one to be in.
/g (Guild Chat) is the chat where players can talk to other players who are in their guild. Again, like world chat you can hear from players who are any place on the island. Hint... for this to work, you have to be in a guild.
/p (Party Chat) is the chat where players can talk to other players who are in their party. Like world and guild chat, you can talk to players who anywhere, but they have to be in your party. Hint... for this to work, you have to be in a party.
/t playername, (Private Chat) is the chat where a player can talk to another player privately without any others seeing them. Hint... playername is an example of a characters name. If you wanted to chat to my character (allaroundecon) you would type /t allaroundecon, Hello. (oh, and yes, there HAS to be a comma).

/helpstuck- to get you out of a glitch. NOTE only use if you are in blackness, not moving, ext. Only use when there is a glitch.
